Increasing Number of OCARC Students Learning Amateur Radio Skills Through Volunteering
An increasing number of Olin Collegiate Amateur Radio Club (OCARC) students are learning hands-on and improving their skills, while also providing important public services. Just this fall, students volunteered at three local events - the most ever for the Club in one semester - and they plan to do more volunteering this spring, most notably for the Boston Marathon in April.

NASA Selects Olin's SWARM-EX Satellite Mission for CubeSat Launch Initiative
The SWARM-EX satellite mission that Olin College students and faculty lead Dr. Whitney Lohmeyer, Assistant Professor of Engineering, have been working on for two years alongside five other institutions, has been selected by NASA’s 2022 CubeSat Launch Initiative (CSLI).

Satellite 2022 Trip
Sixteen OSSTP Group undergraduate students attend the SATELLITE 2022 Conference with Prof. Whitney Lohmeyer and share their experience. This trip was made possible thanks to the generous funding of the Amateur Radio Digital Communications (ARDC) Grant and to Olin College of Engineering.
